Abstract Nickel based nano-catalysts, supported on bimetallic oxide support (i.e. Ni/Al 2 O 3 -MgO) were prepared by the co-precipitation (one step, Catalyst-A) and followed impregnation (two steps, Catalyst-B) techniques separately. The catalysts then tested for dry reforming of methane (DRM) reaction. effect catalyst synthesis technique their performance has been analysed. -MgO nano-catalyst method steps) was found to be superior one synthesized step) method. elevated CO CH 4 conversions stable H /CO ratio have observed throughout DRM reaction at atmospheric pressure (i.e., 1atm), 800°C Catalyst-B. Catalyst-B better in terms activity, conversion syngas, stability, reduced coke formation comparatively.
